I went to see My Husband is a Spaceman in the Project Arts Centre last week. I drew his before the performance started and curiously, the part that came closest to the content of the play is probably the chicken in the spaceship.

So it is. Scribbled on the back of a menu at work some while back. To add to the c.u.n.t. house-family I drew ages ago.

Yufune and Okada from ROOKIES. Yesterday evening I threw on the first episode as background noise. I ended up watching the whole hour and a half episode intently and then watched the next two this morning ;; Actually, it feels like a good time to rewatch this and get daily speeches on following my dreams...

and now it's stopped raining! Chance!

05 Nikogaku, FIGHT!

Sekigawa from ROOKIES. Ever since he had the balls to stand up to the other guys and consequently had his face broken off the bathroom tiles by Shinjo in episode one it was love. 以外と優しい男で好き☆
And he can run; FAST.

04 Hard-boiled!

Going back to the character meme, though this one feels like a bit of a cheat. Shoutarou from Kamen Rider W. I find it hard to tell if I genuinely love this character or if I just think Kiriyama Renn looks great in a suit and trilby hat. I suspect I'll err more on the side of character love when I watch the last ten episodes of the series which I'm currently downloading. Double was a good series. It had a distinct look and character and was very clear about that. I haven't a clue what they're trying for with OOOs except maybe to cook up some horrible Kuuga/555 casserole. But I digress...

FSF*01

Bought a new sketchbook while I was in Cork for 99c. Here is some of the things I put in it. The top and bottom ones are to do with my ideas for my grad!film. The middle ones were observational. I forgot all about Dancin' Dave. I think everyone in the Cork area knows of him. Nice of him to put in an appearance the day I was in the city for the first time in a half a year.
On the whole, I find it very difficult to gauge whether I've gotten better or worse at drawing since I started college.

too long

Been a while since I sat at my laptop in my pajamas doodling til 10am. I've forgotten how to get colours to blend when painting in photoshop. Anyone remind me what brushes are good for this? I've gone back to old habits from Open Canvas 4...
